Microneedling is a skin resurfacing procedure that creates tiny micro-injuries to the skin which sends a signal to the brain to produce more collagen ( new skin cell turn-over ) and elastin ( skin tightening ). This is ideal for clients with fine lines and wrinkels. skin discoloration and those individuals with acne scarring.

Make sure to come in with a clean face. Do not take anti-inflammatory medications before your procedure. Do not use retinoids, exfoliants, serums or creams that may be drying to the skin for up to 5-7 days prior to your appointment.

After your session it is normal to experience redness and tightening of the skin.

DO:

• Use mild face washes for the first three days and only use gentle pressure.
• Avoid wearing makeup for up to 72 hours after the procedure.
• Make sure your hands are clean before touching the treated area.
• Avoid peeling the skin as it heels.

DO NOT:

• Scrub or use abrasive towels or exfoliants on your skin for up to one week after treatment.
• Take anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofin or asprin.
• Exercise the day of your procedure.

Results last anywhere from 3 to 5 months.
